之前转过一篇关于利用vps来刷pt流量的帖子，里面繁琐的编译安装着实麻烦。很多鞋童看着都头大。
今天无意间发现transmission更新到2.22。 令人兴奋的是竟然有了rpm安装包。下面我就说说如何安装transmission的rpm包吧。
Built on CentOS 5.5 i386 (libevent 2.0.10 compiled with “make verify” disabled):
如果你的系统是32位的，就下载以下5个文件。
libevent-2.0.10-1geekery.i386.rpm
transmission-2.22-1geekery.i386.rpm
transmission-cli-2.22-1geekery.i386.rpm
transmission-common-2.22-1geekery.i386.rpm
transmission-daemon-2.22-1geekery.i386.rpm
Built on CentOS 5.5 x86_64:
如果你的系统是64位的，则下载以下5个文件。
libevent-2.0.10-1geekery.x86_64.rpm
transmission-2.22-1geekery.x86_64.rpm
transmission-cli-2.22-1geekery.x86_64.rpm
transmission-common-2.22-1geekery.x86_64.rpm
transmission-daemon-2.22-1geekery.x86_64.rpm
然后开始安装
rpm -ivh libevent-2.0.10-1geekery.$(uname -i).rpm
rpm -Uvh transmission-2.22-1geekery.$(uname -i).rpm transmission-cli-2.22-1geekery.$(uname -i).rpm transmission-common-2.22-1geekery.$(uname -i).rpm transmission-daemon-2.22-1geekery.$(uname -i).rpm
安装完成，就这么简单！
下面就开始配置transmission了
配置文件
/var/lib/transmission/.config/settings.json

设置完成，我们该运行transmission了
开始
service transmission-daemon start
停止
service transmission-daemon stop
我之所以喜欢用transmission。其中最重要的原因是有Transmission Remote GUI可以用。远程管理实在太方便啦。
填上你的IP 端口号 用户名密码点击OK~ 界面跟utorrent一摸一样。太熟悉啦~~
请教一下，旧版本是用源码编译安装的。怎么升级到新版本？
我没有试过.应该只需要直接编译transmission新版本就可以.
